You are able to upload a tiled model generated within Bentley ContextCapture to Trendspek. To do this, begin by generating a tiled model.

Produce a Cesium 3D Model

We will assume you have already performed an aerotriangulation.

  1. Select the aligned block and click on New Reconstruction

  2. Select the Reconstruction and click on Submit new Production

  3. On the Name tab (below) name the production 3d-tiles

  4. On the Purpose tab, check Export 3D mesh

  5. On the Format/Options tab

    1. set the format to Cesium 3D Tiles

    2. uncheck the Generate Cesium Base Application option

    3. change the node size to XL

  6. On the destination tab, click submit

  7. The model will now be generated which could take a while

Important Note: Ensure the SRS is set to EPSG:4978. If you cannot find this in your list of Spatial Reference Systems, you can download it from here.

Preparing your data for upload to Trendspek

Add the matrix.xml file to the Cesium 3D Tile export directory

Select all 4 files above, right click and send to compressed (zipped) folder

Rename this zip file to 3d-tiles.zip

Upload to Trendspek

Start by navigating to https://trendspek.cloud/myuploads If you are unable to access this page, you may not have sufficient privileges. Contact Trendspek Support or your account admin to confirm.

Upload the following items in one go:

  • 3d-tiles.zip

  • the original jpg imagery

    • Do not drag a folder of imagery to Trendspek, instead, drag the imagery itself or use the file picker

The Trendspek team will perform a final quality control step before making your dataset available in your account. You will receive an email once it is ready,
