Using the Relative Level Tool

Step 1: Start Drawing Elevation

  1. Select a Point: Right-click on the desired point on the asset.

  2. Begin Drawing: Click on Start Drawing.

  3. Finish the Drawing: Click on Finish to display the elevation. For example, you may see an elevation of 141.242 meters.

Step 2: Enable the Relative Level Tool

  1. Open Asset Menu: Navigate to the asset menu.

  2. Activate Tool: Click on Relative Level and enable the Relative Level Tool.

    1. Place Relative Plane:

      • Right-click on the model to place the relative plane at that point's elevation.

      • You can also right-click and drag the relative plane to move its position manually.

Note: You can position this plane at ground level, roof level, or set it to any arbitrary datum.

Step 3: Set Reference Level

  1. Position the Plane: Move the plane to ground level (or your preferred reference).

  2. Establish Relative Level Value: Click to set this point as your reference level. If you are using a known datum, enter the appropriate value for that datum.

  3. Save Settings: Once satisfied, click Save.

Step 4: Measure Relative Elevation

  1. Exit Relative Level Tool: Close the tool to return to your previous position.

  2. Start Drawing Again: Right-click, select Start Drawing, and click Finish.

  3. View Elevation: The elevation value will still be displayed, but now you can also see the Relative Level Elevation.
