Trendspek not only allows you to view panoramic images within annotation files but also enables the creation of advanced tours. This guide will walk you through creating annotations, uploading panoramas, viewing them, and linking multiple panoramas to create immersive tours.

Creating an Annotation

Start by creating any type of annotation. For detailed instructions on creating annotations, click here.

In this example, a pin annotation is created and styled with a Blue Camera icon, indicating additional visual data associated with the annotation.

Upload your Panoramas

Navigate to the Files tab and upload your panoramic imagery for the desired area.

For better organisation, store your panoramas in a single folder, as shown in the screenshot below.

During the upload, Trendspek will tile your panoramas for efficient streaming. This process may take a few moments.

What formats does Trendspek support? Trendspek supports equirectangular JPG panoramas and expects the Photo Sphere XMP Metadata to be present. Please contact support if you have any issues with your imagery being detected

View an Individual Panorama

Once uploaded, you can view a panorama interactively by clicking on it in the annotation files tab. Click and drag to explore the image.

Link Multiple Panoramas to Create a Tour

A panorama tour allows you to explore a location with 360-degree panoramic images. You can navigate through different areas by clicking on hotspots within the panoramas. To create a tour, link at least two panoramas together. To do this

  • Go to the Panoramas tab of the annotation panel.

  • Within your first panorama, identify and right-click the origin point of the next panorama.

  • Click on Create Node and select the panorama to link to from the thumbnails.

  • Click Save to establish the link between Panorama 1 and Panorama 2.

Click on Create Node and choose the panorama to link to from the thumbnails, as shown below.

Click Save to establish the link between panorama 1 and panorama 2

If you would also like to navigate from panorama 1 and panorama 2 you will need to also establish a link in the opposite directions. Once linked you can navigate freely between the panoramas as show below

You can create multiple links between numerous panoramas to build complex tours.
