Saved Views allows you to isolate, save and return to a specific view of your asset within Trendspek for faster access, without having to relocate each time.

Video Overview

Creating a Saved View

Apply Clipping Box (Optional)

  • Navigate to the asset and apply a clipping box to isolate the area of interest.

  • Adjust the clipping box as needed and click Apply.

Adjust Default View

  • Position the viewer to face the relevant part of the model. This position is where any user applying your view will be taken to

Save the View

  • Open the Annotations list.

  • To isolate a specific subset of annotations, you can either right click an existing folder, or apply a filter.

  • If using a folder, Right-click the folder and select Create Saved View to store the clipping constraints, camera position, and relevant annotations.

  • If using filters, apply the filter(s) and then click on the SAVE VIEW button at the top of the annotation list

  • Your view has now been saved and will be available for anyone with relevant permission to view.

Exit and Return to Saved View

  • To exit the view, click the X at the top right.

  • The annotation list icon will remain orange when you exit the annotation list, indicating that a view is currently applied

  • To return to the saved view, go to the Save Views tab, locate the desired view, right-click, and select Apply Saved View.
