Templates Overview

1. Creating templates

If you have sufficient company permission, you will see the Template Manager on the dashboard.

To create a new template click on Templates on the dashboard. Please note that you will only have access to the template manager if you have Edit Templates permission for your company.

Click on Create New Templates in the top right to create a new template.

You must specify a Template Name and at least one field.

Each Field should specify a Field Type.

πŸ’‘ Click on this article for an in-depth explanation of Template Field Types.

Once you have configured your template, click the SAVE TEMPLATE button. You can always make changes later.

3. A default template has been created for every existing asset

To ensure a seamless transition, we have created a template for every existing asset.

We understand that this may not be ideal for all scenarios. If you have similar or identical templates, you can merge them.

Please note that merging templates is irreversible, if you are not 100% sure on what you are doing, please contact Trendspek support.

4. Using templates within the Annotation Card

Choose your template within the Data tab of the annotation card.

In the below example, I chose the Tank Defects template that my colleague set up.
